Senior Manager, People Operations

We have a newly created role for a Senior Manager, People Operations, reporting to the Chief People Officer, to help us make a real difference and support growth through European expansion and M&A activity.
About the role:
You will be responsible for building and leading a world-class People Operations function across our European footprint. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving efficiency and consistency in HR processes while enabling an exceptional employee experience. You will lead a team to own HR systems, data, and processes end-to-end, and partner closely with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and L&D to ensure seamless delivery of HR services to our 1,100+ employees.
You will be based in either London, UK or Varna/Sofia, Bulgaria.
What you’ll do:
- Transform People Operations by serving as the subject matter expert for HR systems, data, and processes, building scalable solutions that enable growth.
- Streamline and automate workflows to reduce manual work, enhance employee experience, and support business expansion.
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of core HR systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll) across Europe, ensuring scalability, integration, and a consistent employee experience.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure tools and systems deliver maximum value, while staying ahead of evolving HR technology trends.
- Leverage AI and Agentic AI to deliver innovative and efficient outcomes.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes across all countries while allowing for local adaptation where needed.
- Drive the seamless integration of acquisitions into myPOS through effective alignment of systems, data, policies, and processes.
- Safeguard data integrity, security, and compliance across all HR systems and processes.
- Build dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights for HR leadership and business leaders.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, GDPR, and other employment regulations across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data and payroll inputs.
- Act as a trusted partner to BPs, TA, Total Rewards, and senior leadership, providing operational expertise and support.
- Lead change management efforts for new systems, processes, and policies across the organisation.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and employee-centric HR service delivery.
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- 10+ years’ experience in People Operations, with a proven record of delivering transformational impact across global teams and functions; including leading a direct team.
- Strong knowledge and experience of HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, data management, compliance), across geographies.
- Hands-on implementation experience with global HR, Talent Acquisition and Payroll systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, HiBob, Teamtailor, Greenhouse, Deel), including vendor selection, process optimisation, and workflow design.
- Strong data orientation, with the ability to translate people data into actionable insights that drive engagement, development, and organisational success.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practice, balancing compliance with flexibility and scalability.
- A global perspective, with experience expanding People operations into new regions and adapting to diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders.
