About the role:
The Senior Linux Administrator will be a key figure in maintaining and evolving the organization’s infrastructure. By overseeing both cloud and on-premises environments, and supporting critical IT and business applications, this expert ensures the stability, security, and scalability of core systems. The role is essential in enabling seamless operations, driving automation, and supporting innovation within a dynamic fintech context.
What you’ll do:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux Production and Development servers (Debian/Ubuntu).
- Data center deployment, maintenance and configurations
- Administer SAN/NAS storage arrays, SAN switches, and networking.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT, Security, and Business applications.
- Work closely with IT & Operations department, Development teams, Quality assurance and Projects Managers to deliver software solutions of highest quality.
- Automate tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible or Terraform to improve efficiency.
- Manage cloud infrastructure deployments and support applications in remote environments.
- Configure and maintain system monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana) for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring uptime and reliability.
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- 5+ years of proven experience in Linux system administration (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).
- Hands-on expertise with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewall management).
- Experience with at least one automation tool (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Salt, Chef).
- Practical experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Grafana etc.
- Knowledge of physical server management (Dell, HPE) and enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS, SAN switches).
- MySQL/Postgres skills are considered a plus.
- Fluent English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong listening/comprehension skills and good follow up skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable professional ready to take ownership of critical infrastructure.
