About the role:

Are you a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented individual eager to kickstart your career in fintech? myPOS is looking for three ambitious interns to join our Risk team across three key areas.

1. Transaction Monitoring Intern

What you’ll do:

• Assist in reviewing daily transactions to spot patterns and potential financial crime (e.g. money laundering, fraud).
• Flag unusual or suspicious activity for senior analysts to investigate further.
• Learn how to use AML tools and dashboards to monitor real-time activity.

What you’ll need:

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Basic Excel skills and good written English.

2. Merchant Risk Assessment Intern

What you’ll do:

• Support risk reviews of new and existing merchants by collecting and analyzing basic data.
• Help assess merchant profiles to ensure they align with our internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Learn how to perform risk scoring activities.

What you’ll need:

• Studying Finance, Business, Law, or a similar field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Curiosity about the fintech world and an eye for risk.

3. Chargeback Support Intern

What you’ll do:

• Assist the chargeback team with documenting and preparing evidence for payment disputes.
• Help merchants and internal teams understand the chargeback process.
• Learn how international card schemes (Visa, Mastercard) manage disputes.

What you’ll need:

• Interest in payments, or banking operations.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Eagerness to learn how financial disputes are resolved.
