About the role:
As a Senior Product Manager – Risk & Compliance, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our risk management and compliance strategy, covering the entire merchant lifecycle—from onboarding and ongoing risk scoring to transaction monitoring and regulatory adherence. Working cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Engineering, and Operations teams, you will ensure myPOS stays ahead of evolving regulations and fraud prevention practices while enabling a frictionless experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the strategy for risk management and compliance across the myPOS platform
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging fraud prevention technologies to maintain myPOS’s competitive edge
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and other product teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales, etc.) to define product requirements, user stories, and success criteria whilst ensuring alignment with the product roadmap
- Leading end-to-end product development lifecycle, including discovery & ideation, development, testing, launch, and post launch monitoring
- Continuously optimise workflows to balance risk mitigation with a seamless user experience
- Monitor key risk and compliance KPIs, analyse trends, and drive improvements to enhance security and efficiency
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience as a Product Manager for a B2B product (or similar role)
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, AML, and transaction monitoring practices
- Experience with risk assessment tools, fraud detection systems, and compliance automation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
