About the role:
As a Senior Product Manager – Core Payments, you will own the strategy, development, and execution of payment processing integrations, ensuring that myPOS stays ahead in the evolving payments landscape. You will work closely with Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams to establish new acquiring relationships, enhance existing partnerships, and introduce new payment methods that drive customer adoption. This is a high-impact role that directly influences myPOS’s ability to scale, improve transaction efficiency, and deliver a best-in-class payments experience for our merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and execution for acquiring new card schemes and integrating alternative payment methods
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging payment technologies to maintain myPOS’s competitive edge
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and other product teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales, etc.) to define product requirements, user stories, and success criteria whilst ensuring alignment with the product roadmap
- Leading end-to-end product development lifecycle, including discovery & ideation, development, testing, launch, and post launch monitoring
- Optimise transaction processing, ensuring high authorization rates and cost efficiency
- Ensure our acquiring solutions comply with regulatory requirements across multiple European markets
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience as a Product Manager for a B2B product (or similar role)
- Strong understanding of payment processing, authorization flows, and settlement mechanisms
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret transaction data and optimise payment flows
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
