About the role:
As a Vendor Management Expert, you will oversee partner performance, optimize relationships, and ensure seamless collaboration across teams. Acting as the main contact for key partners, you will drive operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an innovative individual who is process-driven, customer-centric, and thinks outside the box.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor partner performance through key metrics and implement strategies to optimize partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment with myPOS's strategic goals and operational needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, managing communications, expectations, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to ensure seamless collaboration between partners and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of myPOS, ensuring a customer centric process, Risk based approach and escalation efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall operational performance.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
- Oversee industry regulations and help ensure compliance with relevant financial standards and guidelines.
- Help ensure process documents are in place, kept up to date and stored appropriately.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners and vendors.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations teams.
This role is perfect for you if you have:
- Proven experience (4+ years) in partner management within the financial services/payments industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong data analysis capability.
- Clear written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
