About the role:

This position involves designing and building scalable and reliable data pipelines, ensuring the data is accessible and usable for driving business insights and decisions.

What you’ll do:

• Design, construct, and manage data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable data architecture to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data in a ready-to-use form for analysis and insights generation.
• Implement best practices for data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Optimize data workflows and processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.

This role is perfect for you if you have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Data Engineer, with significant exposure to cloud-based data solutions.
• Proficient in programming languages relevant to data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL).
• Proven experience with Airflow and Spark.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge with some of the Cloud providers - Azure, GCP, AWSStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.

Key success factors:

• Experience in configuring cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Run, Dataplex, Cloud Storage).
• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or similar.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
