As we continue shaping the future of payments, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our growing team.

As Compliance Officer you’ll take ownership of compliance training, internal reporting, and regulatory alignment, helping us maintain our reputation as a trusted fintech leader. This role also involves occasional travel to Varna, approximately 5–7 times per year, for team collaboration.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare detailed monthly reports for the Board of Directors, providing insights on compliance adherence, risks, and corrective actions. 
• Deliver management reports with actionable recommendations
• Design, implement, and lead engaging training programs on AML, CTF, sanctions, ethics, and anti-bribery to empower employees with compliance knowledge
• Drive awareness of compliance policies through creative campaigns, regular updates, and interactive tools. Assess participation and program impact
• Review, update, and refine internal compliance policies and procedures to reflect changing regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular internal reviews to ensure adherence to AML, CTF, and other key regulatory obligations. Propose actionable insights to resolve any gaps
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align compliance efforts and provide expert guidance on regulatory challenges. Address and resolve non-compliance issues proactively
• Stay ahead of the curve on evolving regulations to keep our compliance framework robust and future ready

What you bring:

• Proven experience as a compliance officer or a similar role, ideally in fintech or financial services
• University degree
• Expertise in compliance training, reporting, and regulatory standards.
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Certification as a compliance professional is a plus but not mandatory
• A personal style that demonstrates authority, commitment and consistency, and inspires trust and confidence
• Fluent in English
