Product Marketing Director

As we continue shaping the future of payments, we are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Director to join our growing team.
As the Head of Product Marketing to lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and product positioning for our suite of solutions. This senior role is critical in bridging the gap between product, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring that our products are successfully launched, adopted, and understood by our target audience. You will own the product messaging, positioning, and differentiation, working to drive market awareness, customer engagement, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing leader with a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, customer needs, and market trends.
What you’ll do:
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of the GTM strategy for new product launches, ensuring timely and successful market introduction
- Define product positioning, messaging, and differentiation that resonates with target customers and drives demand
- Partner with product management, marketing, and sales teams to align on launch timelines, key messaging, and sales enablement materials
Product Messaging & Positioning
- Develop clear and compelling product messaging that communicates the unique value proposition and benefits of our products
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all marketing channels, including website, social media, email, events, and content marketing
- Regularly update messaging and positioning based on product development, customer feedback, and market trends
Market & Customer Insights
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs
- Gather customer insights through surveys, interviews, and engagement with the sales team to ensure product marketing strategies are data-driven and customer-centric
- Identify target segments and buyer personas, driving the development of tailored marketing campaigns to reach these audiences
Sales Enablement
- Equip the sales team with the tools and training needed to effectively communicate product value, including sales decks, one-pagers, case studies, and competitive analysis
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure alignment on key messaging, product value propositions, and competitive positioning
- Act as a strategic advisor to sales teams, providing insights on market opportunities and product advantages
Content & Campaign Development
- Oversee the creation of high-quality product-related content, including whitepapers, webinars, case studies, and product videos
- Work with demand generation teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Ensure that product marketing materials are aligned with broader marketing objectives and brand messaging
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between product, marketing, and sales teams, ensuring all teams are aligned on product marketing objectives and timelines
- Work with the product management team to influence the product roadmap based on market feedback, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Partner with marketing leadership to ensure product marketing efforts support overall marketing strategies and business objectives
What you bring:
- 10-15+ years of proven experience in product marketing, ideally within a B2B, SaaS, or technology-driven environment
- Demonstrated success in leading go-to-market strategies, product launches, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and the ability to influence product strategy and development
- Ability to translate complex product features into clear and compelling messaging that resonates with target customers
- A strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture, while also paying attention to the details that ensure successful product execution
- Deep understanding of customer needs, buyer personas, and industry trends
- Experience with market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing product marketing teams
- Experience with product marketing in a high-growth startup environment
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Experience working in close collaboration with product management teams and influencing product roadmaps
- An MBA or advanced degree in a related field
- Fluent in English
