Sales Data Analyst

As we continue shaping the future of payments, we are looking for an experienced Sales Data Analyst to join our growing team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing sales data, providing actionable insights to improve sales performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the sales organization. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with broader company objectives.
What you’ll do:
- Sales Data Analytics: Analyse and interpret sales data to provide actionable insights that drive sales performance, forecast trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain sales performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs, ensuring accurate tracking of sales metrics, including pipeline velocity, close rates, and win/loss ratios.
- Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts by analysing historical sales data, market trends, and sales team performance.
- Revenue Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve revenue generation through data analysis, providing recommendations on pricing, territory allocation, sales incentives, and more.
- Data Integration & Management: Ensure data accuracy and consistency across CRM and sales systems (e.g., HubSpot), collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows and integrations.
- Sales Funnel Analysis: Monitor the sales funnel, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Provide actionable recommendations to improve lead conversion rates and overall funnel efficiency.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with teams in Marketing, Product, and Finance to align sales data with broader company objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to revenue operations.
- Sales Process Optimization: Work with the Revenue Operations team to analyze and refine sales processes, driving efficiency improvements and standardizing best practices across the sales organization.
- Strategic Insights: Support sales leadership in strategic planning by delivering insights that inform decision-making, such as territory planning, market segmentation, and product performance analysis.
- Training & Adoption: Assist in the adoption of new analytics tools and techniques within the sales team, ensuring that stakeholders understand and utilize data-driven insights effectively.
What you bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales analytics, data analysis, or a similar role within a sales or revenue operations environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce). Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales KPIs, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting methodologies.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights that support sales performance and business growth.
- Business Acumen: Solid understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and how data can be leveraged to optimize revenue outcomes.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical audiences, including sales leadership and executives.
- Experience with advanced statistical modelling and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with HubSpot
- Knowledge of revenue operations and how it aligns with sales, marketing, and finance functions.
- Project management experience, particularly in managing sales-related data initiatives.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in sales analytics.
