Marketing Data Analyst

As we continue shaping the future of payments, we are looking for an experienced Marketing Data Analyst to join our Marketing team.
As Marketing Data Analyst you will be responsible for analysing marketing (and sales) data, providing actionable insights to improve marketing performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the Marketing organization. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with broader company objectives.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and implement overall marketing analytics and reporting strategy.
- Clearly understands Marketing and Sales teams business objectives.
- Owning and maintaining data analytics tagging and tracking to ensure continuous improvement in marketing metrics reporting
- Drive metrics reporting, analysis, insight, and forecast modeling in support of Marketing strategy, campaigns optimization and business performance in aim of increasing marketing investment efficiency.
- Provide strategic insights for channel performance — across paid, owned, social, email and other channels and how each channel contributes incremental business value.
- Create regular and ad-hoc reports on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations to Marketing Leaders and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance to align analytics and reporting initiatives with business goals.
- Support data-driven decision making across the organization by providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Understanding of web, product, CRM, and marketing systems data and the connection between the different data sets
- Funnel Performance reporting and insights - monitoring, reporting, and analysis of the funnel metrics (web-to-lead-to-client pipeline)
- Assistance in Go-to-market planning and associated metrics reporting and insights – participate in planning, monitoring and tracking marketing performance, evaluating effectiveness and ROI.
- Target setting and forecasting - cooperating with Finance, Sales and Marketing on target creation. Provide recommendations for strategic marketing planning (budget for future marketing investments) and day-to-day marketing decision-making.
- Socialization, education, and adoption of existing and new marketing analytics strategies, KPIs, and reports/dashboards
- Representing Marketing team in “Data analysts team” planning and strategic initiatives
- Partner with other functions on reporting and insights
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a mathematical or quantitative sciences background e.g., Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science or related field.
- Solid background in analytics, data visualization and stakeholder management with a strong business acumen and interest in the technical aspects of data processing.
- A good understanding of marketing concepts and metrics, such as demand generation, customer base marketing, marketing engagement score, and marketing funnel.
- Ability to extract meaningful information from data and to translate technical insights into business understandings and actionable recommendations to drive business performance.
- Familiarity with data visualisation platforms e.g., PowerBI / Looker
- A strategic mindset and a vision for how data can drive marketing success and business growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, basic knowledge of key AdTech platforms (Meta, Google Marketing Platform including GA4) and experience with SQL for data analytics. Knowledge of CRM platforms structure, specifically Hubspot, is a plus.
- Bonus: Proficiency in other coding languages e.g, Java Script, Python
