As we continue shaping the future of payments, we are looking for an experienced SWIFT Specialist to join our growing team.

On this position you will be an important part of our Payment team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of various types of payments.

What you’ll do:

• Detailed knowledge of each type of bank transfer in the company processes -SCT (SEPA Credit transfer), SIP (SEPA Instant transfer), SDD (SEPA Direct Debit), SWIFT, BISERA, FPS (Faster Payment) and Other methods of transfers;
• Direct work in Swift Alliance platform;
• Send and receive all types of payment investigation and cancellation requests through Swift;
• Good knowledge of different types of swift messages – MT103, MT199 etc.;
• To make an internal investigation regarding the transfer and the amount and then respond via swift to the specific inquiry;
• Getting written instructions from finance manager or treasury colleague, then ordering liquid transfers in swift Detailed screening, monitoring and tracking of Incoming and Outgoing transfers;
• Processing of Incoming and Outgoing transfers, ensuring strict compliance with company rules and procedures;
• Processing of liquidity transfers and reconciliation of nostro accounts;
• Using organizational skills to ensure no payments are lost or missing;
• All types of investigations related to transfers;
• Completing duties according to standard routine for appropriate time/quality and priority;
• Answering of customers’ queries-pending transfers, investigation and cancellations;
• Maintaining correspondence with the correspondent banks regarding all Incoming and Outgoing transfers;
• Planning the working day logically, understand and follow all priorities;
• Cooperating with the Compliance Department and the Risk Department on fraud investigations and detection, as necessary, in areas such as data analysis and reporting;
• Assisting in the administration, maintenance and improvement of payment processing systems.

What you bring:

• Fluent in English;
• University degree in Economics/Finance or similar;
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an operational role for customer bank transfers or payment services;
• Previous experience working in Swift is an advantage;
• Knowledge of SWIFT and SEPA schemes and mechanisms;
• Practical experience of managing and reporting oversight of outsourced activities;
• A disciplined professional with a proven ability to manage workload, priorities and escalate issues, and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and collaboratively;
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
• Very good command of written and spoken English;
• Ability to work with deadlines and multitasking;
• Understanding of Compliance policy will be considered as advantage;
• Business awareness – good understanding of Payments instruments and requirements;
• Good knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
